What is your favorite name for a child (other than the ones you may have picked for your own)?

I have always loved the Hawaiian name Makalani. It means heavenly eyes. It is also a very common girl's name in Hawaii, and it's common to have two middle names.

When we found out we were going to have a baby, we wanted to give our child a little piece of the native culture by giving him/her a second middle name. If he had been a she, her name would have been Ashley Noel Makalani XXXXXX. In the end, we could not agree on a Hawaiian name for a boy so he was given first and middle names that mean "little ruler" and "king" instead.
