I got another message from Paul yesterday that reassured me of his health and well-being, as well as his regret over not making it into the family March Madness bracketology.
Priorities.
Anyway, the weather is still mild, the sand storms are relentless, and the bugs are "thriving". ...which reaffirms my own decision to remain a civilian.
He did say that the bugs and the sand would subside with the onset of warmer weather....and by warmer weather he means inferno like temperatures that make the bugs seem like old friends you miss.
