It was a front loading washer and so, the controls are also on the front. If it's not set on a pedastel, a kid can reach them easily. We have one and, unless I put the control lock on, Joseph is always starting it up......
A mother of two and wife of one, who is attempting to navigate her way through parenthood, publication, and the occasional mall (no easy task with a double stroller).

I don't understand... was the little boy sitting on top of the washer at the time? How else could he get to the on / off switch? Something's amiss...

Yikes...mine has 2 buttons to push before it can turn on, but it can't be locked unless it's turned on. Pedastels might be in my future.
